Plot 13 at the Rolla Community Garden (RCG) is going great. In fact, it has grown to include Plot 14, which had been unused until know.

I really want to give credit to Keith and Tom, who have worked like mules and really done a magnificent job with the UU plots at RCG. Plot 13 is “UU 1” and Plot 14 is “UU 2.” We have already sent two harvests of green leafy vegetables to the Russell House via the good people at Nature Girls, who take such donations over each Wednesday morning.

The pictures below include UU 1 growing and doing so well that we needed to find new places for many of the plants to grow. You can see how Keith and Tom have built up UU 2 with sheep manure and hard, hard work. I believe that Ralph also deserves credit for a lot of the hard work that has gone into this project as well.
