Just dropped off a new sign for the library and some new emergency cookies, lemon flavored, for the kitchen.
Please donate old cereal boxes to the Fellowship. We can use them to organize and make more available our library’s periodicals. — Travis

New UU-Specific books and DVD’s have just been added to the Fellowship Library and are available for checkout now.
They have also been added to the Fellowship’s online catalog along with all the DVD’s and periodicals in our collection, which had previously been searchable only as Excel spreadsheets. Today, Aug. 2nd, at the UUFR plots at the Rolla Community Garden, we have many, many happy bees!
Rolla Area Citizens for Women (RACW) Book Club 08/02/2014
The Rolla Area Citizens for Women Book Club met today, and we had a really good discussion of the first half of Jimmy Carter’s book “A Call to Action: Women, Religion, Violence, and Power.” We also had a great Peanut Butter Lust pie.
We will finish discussion of the book Saturday, Sept. 6th at 1 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Rolla. You don’t have to have been at the first meeting to attend the second one. All people of good will are welcome. We will have a Peanut Butter Chocolate Swirl Pie also.
UUFR Book Club 07/27/2014
Yesterday, July 27th, we had a great discussion of Phil Klay’s “Redeployment.” It is a very good read, and we had a very nice time talking about it. Also, thanks to everyone who participated and to Lynda for bringing peaches!
